Zarathustra

Zarathustra was a great prophet
A man of wisdom and sight
Messenger of beauty and good
Chosen by Ahura Mazda, the God of truth and light
* * *
He was enlightened in Alborz Mountain
To spread three simple virtues
Good Thought, Good Words, and Good Deeds
So man can fly with God’s wings
* * *
He came down from mountain to the plain
To stop Ahreeman, the God of evil
To nourish the land and mother earth
Guide to light, the soul of people
* * *
At the skirt of the mountain, he saw
A hunter chasing a game
To shed her blood and contaminate the land
To decorate his table and his fame
* * *
Stop; do not shed this creature’s blood
Said Zarathusthtra in low voice
Killing is not the Lord’s way
Live and let live is his choice
* * *
Replied to Zarathustra, the hunter
Who are you stopping me from my prey?
This is the way of life in this land
My family asked for meat, not grass and hay
* * *
I will show you another way
A path to become one with earth and life
To earn your livings from mother of all
Till and Plant to feed your children and wife
* * *
Further in his journey to people
He met a man cutting a tree
Saddened by this act of sacrilege
Stopped that man of care free
* * *
Cutting trees is not a good deed
No one ever told you this simple truth?
Not to harm Ahura’s beauty
This provider of shade and fruit
* * *
I need the wood to build my house
To shelter me from hot and cold
A place of comfort to my children
At nights when stories are told
* * *
Earth provides you all you need
Clay to build your shelter
Pruned branches for door and windows
Stone to setup your alter
* * *
Further down the road, Zarathusthtra
Faced two men engaged in fight
Using obscene language and insult
Showing each other no courtesy, but might
* * *
Why you are fighting my brethren?
Under this beautiful sky of blue
Why engaged in unkind words and hostility
In this natural beauty and hue
* * *
He tried to steal my sheep
Replied one with anger and red face
This thief admits not his wrong-doings
You be the judge of this case
* * *
I am not a thief, but man of honor
He who had pity on this sheep
Suffering from hunger and thirst
Neglected by man of anger and whip
* * *
Behold my brothers, the hand of Ahreeman
is in full swing between neighbors
He who creates chaos and hate
is doing Ahreeman great favor
* * *

Year of Revelation

It was the year of revelation
To be born from the womb of love
To suck nourishments from the bosom of hate
To sleep with lullaby of peace
To wake up with thunder of war
And in between
River of blood carried tuxedos and wedding gowns
I hung up my gloves and leave
I am on my pilgrimage
To the land of dreams
To dwell in house of sand and fog
I will look into the eyes of setting sun
And ask her to return
To tell her that I am scared of darkness
I will look into the eyes of rising moon
And will tell her
I am glad to see her in this dark night
I will recite all the poetries of great poets
I will invite her to my garden
To swim in the palm of my hands

Nature

Sky is green
Cloud is white
Sea is red
Tree is light
* * *
Wind is blue
Dream is grey
Hills are alive
Life is prey
* * *
Dawn is silent
Bird is dying
Dusk is mourning
Grass is crying
* * *
Day gets shorter
Night is falling
Mountain is weeping
River is calling
