Trust

Gate, I shall close
Glory, I shall bring
Enemy, I shall destroy
Wall, I shall erect
That is a promise to make you great
In vacuum, in isolation, in emptiness

I am the prophet at the gate of 21st century
From the depth of despair and anger
I shall bring buckets of stars
From far away galaxies
For your Christmas Trees
And ray of light from a young sun
To your living rooms
I shall feed every hungry child
And bring a pony to ride
I shall chase away all monsters
From under your beds
I shall ask my daughter
To make the prettiest dress
for every little girl, for a fair price
Trust me. I am one of you
My children also go to bed on empty belly

Trust me

Bleak Times

In a foggy morning of this summer heat
And stagnated people of one kind
Along a narrow street, extended north-south, is
a full picture of the country
And the days ahead of us
A populist and demagogue president
Whose fingers on tweet is looser
Than the legs of a prostitute
Leads the country to its obliteration
In the eyes of stagnated supporters
Greatness is on horizon, not knowing
What you see is the brightness of
An explosion, bringing destruction
Mistaken with glory of God, blessed upon a confused nation

Esfahan

O’ My hometown, City of my childhood and memories
What happened to you?
Now, you are their City and no one’s hometown
City of prostitute and narcotics
City of divorce, liquor and fanatics
O’ City of my memories
City of ancient souls and history
O’ my lost city! Where is your prophet?
Your Zayanderud is dried out
Your farmers are scattered
Your original dwellers are dead
Your air is polluted
Your water is polluted
Your food is tasteless
Your streets are jammed and
 Your alleys disappeared for ever
On the corners of your streets, standing
Panhandlers, child labors and prostitutes
Your bookstores are empty like your river
Your water wells are empty like your bookstores
Your people are empty as your bookstores
O’ my city, Esfahan!
What happened to you?
Every time they brought down your walls
I disappeared in your memories

Dragon

Dragon of the clouds
Takes the command of the sky to
Break the silence of the night
As the windows of eyes
Shutting down on the world
A beam of red light
From the corner of the room
Reminds the tired conscience
Of the true black color of the day
And the bleeding evening
In twilight of conscious and ignorance
A man is born to raise the nation
To a blessed hell
Not by force, but choice
This is the resolution of the year
