Fear

It’s not safe to walk in dark
In street or in park
Creature of night may grab you
Monsters do not care who is who
* * *
It’s not safe to embarrass the boss
Complain, criticize or fuss
Remember that walls have mice
They can hear and that’s not nice
* * *
It’s not safe to be middle-eastern man
Like a fish fried in oil and pan
Buggy man may put you in chains
Every time he thinks if it rains
* * *
It’s not safe to be weak and feeble
Called dangerous and unstable
Bully-boy may come after you
Arrogant does not care who is who
* * *
It is not safe to be poor and sick
with no option to chose and pick
To die lonely in despair
Broken, in pain with no care
