Lost Sun

I stood still
In the passage of life and time
Separated by touch, closed eyes
I left the land on foot
With my brothers fire and thirst
One night, when Gods lost their minds
And grass did not yield to wind
I left behind my brothers
In search of the lost sun
I walked along the river of pain
With sands in my shoes and moon in my hands
The surge of rising night
Pouring from the shadows of forgotten memories
On my shoulders as the curl of long hair in my youth
Falling down from the trees and man
In the valley of silence
Life burnt soul and dreams
Eyes of the sky
Hidden in blood and toil
To remind man of his intolerance and sin
Fixed on path of never ending desire and chaos
Cried load in tears, trickling from the corner of the
The barren cloud, covering me in its shade
In the prophesy of journey
To bring home the lost sun
I walked many times around the circle that
Never meant to be conquered
Not knowing the sun
Was under my shirt, hidden.
